Jack Smith

Brad Jones Racing will tackle the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship in 2020 with an expanded four-car line-up when young Queenslander Jack Smith steps up to the main game with the backing of SCT Logistics.

20-year old Smith started his journey to Supercars with BJR in 2017 when he won the Super 3 (formally known as the Australian Kumho V8 Touring Car Championship) Championship crown.

For the past two years, Jack has been competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series with BJR and SCT Logistics – scoring a maiden top-three race finish at Symmons Plains. While campaigning in Super 2, Jack has picked up valuable experience as a Supercars wildcard and enduro co-driver – with 13 race starts under his belt. His wildcard debut with BJR in 2019 at round two of the championship in Tasmania showed his considerable potential as he outshone some highly credentialed full-time drivers in both qualifying sessions.
