Zane Goddard will make his debut season in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship in 2020 behind the wheel of the Matt Stone Racing #34 ZB Commodore.
After finishing fourth in last year’s Super 2 feeder category, Goddard will share the newly dubbed ‘Superlite’ seat with fellow Queenslander Jake Kostecki.
The Two will share responsibility as a driver throughout the year as they look to make the move to a full-time driver in the premier class.
Goddard completed two successful years overseas in the Formula Renault 2.0 class before returning to Australia in 2018 after confirming his debut on the Super2 Series grid with Brad Jones Racing.
Goddard opened the year at the Adelaide 500 in the #8 Entry and finished the year 14th Overall with highlighted drives at the Townsville 400 & Newcastle 500, where he finished P9 and P6 respectively.
