2019 sees an all-new look for the former Wilson Security Racing squad with Boost Mobile coming on board in full support of the two ZB Commodore that will field James Golding and Richie Stanaway in the 2019 season.
Garry Rogers Motorsport returned to Holden in 2017 with two brand-new VF Commodores.
The following years were rather more character-building, but Bargwanna still won the Gold Coast event in 2002 before ending his five-year association with the team, replaced by Jamie Whincup.
GRM was well-placed for 2004 when it signed Cameron McConville alongside Tander and success followed; McConville clinched his first V8 race victory at Winton and Tander finished on the podium in two rounds.
Tander departed GRM in 2005, leaving McConville to assume the mantle of the squad’s team leader, joined by Andrew Jones.
McConville finished in the top 10 in the championship and the duo finished fourth at Bathurst, though both moved on for 2006.
Lee Holdsworth and Dean Canto joined the team, Holdsworth breaking through for a stunning wet-weather victory at Oran Park in 2007.
Michael Caruso replaced Canto in 2008 and teamed up with Holdsworth to finish third at Bathurst in 2009.
Holdsworth left the team at the end of 2011 and was replaced by Frenchman Alexandre Premat.
After showing signs of steady improvement throughout his rookie season, Premat remained at GRM for 2013, joined by reigning Dunlop V8 Series Champion Scott McLaughlin, who was a race-winner for the team in his debut season.
McLaughlin was joined by David Wall for the 2014 and ’15 seasons before James Moffat replaced Wall in 2016.
